Quote# 53506

[Kentucky adopts anti-terror law that states: "stressing the dependence on Almighty God as being vital to the security of the Commonwealth."]

They need to would recognize the one true God.

They would also need to understand that violence always follows the religion of Islam.

colonel catastrophe

Violence also follows Christianity. Who's up for bombing an abortion clinic?

12/2/2008 5:59:35 AM

Does this even make sense? I understand what they are saying about Islam, but WTF are trying to say in the 1st sentence?

12/2/2008 6:01:38 AM

What?! You're not even happy with this blatantly unconstitutional fuckedupedness?

12/2/2008 6:03:46 AM

Violence always follows religion. Period. Even Buddhists started slugging one another over doctrine shortly after the big guy died. Anything that provokes intense feeling will be taken too far by someone.

12/2/2008 6:12:06 AM

"They need to would recognize the one true God."
You mean Morgan Freeman?

12/2/2008 6:17:47 AM

Uh-huh. And which one true God would that be?

12/2/2008 6:19:11 AM

a mind far far away

"They need to would recognize the one true God"

Um...what? Coming from KY, I'm not too surprised by the grammatical word jumble, nor the reference to the "one true god"(TM). And as far as violence always following the religion of Islam, this is no more true than it is for christianity. Fundamentalist Islam achieves what fundamentalist christians only dream of. Muslims just have the kahones to pull it off. I don't think that's really a good thing, but it shows the level of lunacy of fundy christians. But...poor KY, and poor America for their pest problem...what kind of pesticide takes care of fundy christians?

12/2/2008 6:27:53 AM

Yeah... Unless it's following Christianity or Judaism.

12/2/2008 6:42:01 AM

Yeah, like Christianity has a bloodless history.

12/2/2008 7:32:10 AM

Isn't that a bit un-constitutional?

12/2/2008 7:38:29 AM

Behold! The mighty triceratops!... <snip> And that's how the icecream is made, Billy.

One follows another same as in the post above. Apsolutely same "logic" used.

Is Yoda teaching grammar in Kentucky?

Thinking Allowed

What those crazy RR posters don't realize that the god of islam is also the god of christianity.

You have no room to talk.

"They would also need to understand that violence always follows the religion of Islam."

(Partially) fixed.

Violence follows any form of extremist thought, that includes your religion.

12/2/2008 10:56:27 AM

Well they're half right.

12/2/2008 11:22:05 AM

You only have to look at European global expansion from the 1500's onwards, to see how much "love and peace" has followed your religion.

12/2/2008 11:24:16 AM

Allah is God...... God is Allah...

In other words the Islamic god and the Christian god are the same god!!

12/2/2008 11:35:17 AM

Mister Spak

They need to would recognize the one true Allah.

They would also need to understand that violence always follows the religion of christianity.

Oh no, the terrorists are coming to steal our race horses and basketball team! "Almighty God"?? Thanks but I would prefer an AK and a .45!

"They would also need to understand that violence always follows the religion of Islam. "

Hell, I just read a comment from a Christian that was hoping and praying that a gay school gets blown up.
